How to choose a size
Every brand cuts its own way, so use these tables as a guide and check the brand’s own table before you buy.
Questions
How do I choose a size?
Take your measurements as the table explains and find your row. If you already own something from this brand that fits well, go by its label.
My measurements fall between two sizes. Which one do I take?
Usually the larger: a garment is easier to take in than to let out. If it stretches or you like a close fit, the smaller may work too.
Why does the same size fit differently across brands?
Every brand has its own patterns and labels. Our tables help you find your way, but check the brand's own table before you buy.
How do I find my shoe size?
Measure your foot in the evening, standing: feet are a little larger by the end of the day. The table gives foot length, not insole length.
What do W and L mean on jeans?
W is the waist in inches and L is the length along the inside seam. A size of 28/32 means a 28 waist and a 32 length.
What is “Tall GER” in the men's tables?
It is the German label for the same fit made for taller people. If you are well above average height, compare it with the regular size.
